Overview

This Bachelor's programme explores both the structure and acquisition of language and the diversity of languages worldwide, covering language's function in society, its representation in the brain, the effects of impairment, the process of acquisition, and its broader structure and function, together with multilingualism and language change. Students study a modern language of their choice alongside the core curriculum and specialise further through a minor or electives, with the option to study abroad for a semester or complete an internship.
