BA/BS in Media and information

This programme examines new media and the production, distribution and use of information in contemporary society, analysing phenomena such as social media platforms alongside broader themes including the monitoring and metrification of daily life, locative media, citizen journalism, and surveillance. It builds conceptual and practical tools for understanding shifts in culture and society driven by changing media, applying research approaches such as Digital Humanities and Digital Methods. This interdisciplinary grounding is applied to topics such as new political movements, big data and privacy, and the sharing economy.
