MA/MS in Global Health Policy is a master's degree in Politics & International Relations programme offered by Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Doha, Qatar. The programme runs for 2 years, delivered on campus. Tuition for international students is QAR 90,000 per total (QAR 90,000 per total for local students).
Delivered on campus over two years by the College of Public Policy, this master's program prepares graduate students from varied academic backgrounds to address pressing global health challenges, with particular attention to Qatar and the wider Global South. Coursework draws together public policy, public health, economics, ethics, and data and artificial-intelligence methods, covering areas such as health systems design, health financing, crisis and emergency response, and health advocacy and diplomacy.
The program is explicitly interdisciplinary, pairing analytical rigor with a strong ethical grounding and an emphasis on evidence-based governance. Graduates are expected to communicate clearly, shape policy debates, and support health outcomes that are both sustainable and centered on people, whether working locally in Qatar or internationally.
Admission builds on prior exposure to global health policy, health systems, economics, ethics, and data and AI methods, combined with a readiness to undertake applied research and hands-on policy engagement throughout the degree.
