The Diploma in Healthcare Management is a two-year UDST programme aimed at students who want to work in the administrative and operational side of healthcare rather than in direct clinical care. Coursework covers the business functions involved in running a healthcare setting, giving graduates both the theoretical grounding and the practical sense of how those functions fit together day to day.
A required work placement in a healthcare-management setting forms part of the programme, giving students direct exposure to how administrative teams operate inside real healthcare organisations rather than only studying the subject in the classroom.
Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles managing or supporting business operations within hospitals, clinics and other healthcare providers in Qatar, with the diploma also providing a foundation for further study in healthcare administration or management.
