This four-year engineering degree covers aerospace engineering, the design, development and maintenance of aircraft, spacecraft and related systems. It combines coursework with hands-on practical work, and the school has partnerships with firms including Rolls-Royce and Pratt & Whitney that shape its projects and curriculum.
Students can pursue areas of specialisation including autonomous systems, energy and the environment, and smart manufacturing and the digital factory, and they have access to laboratories, simulation tools and research projects. Students who do very well in the first semester may enter an accelerated route that finishes in seven semesters rather than eight.
Applicants are expected to meet minimum subject requirements, such as H2-level Mathematics plus a science or computing subject at A Level, or the equivalents for IB, NUS High School and international qualifications. Polytechnic graduates with relevant diplomas may apply.
