Master of Science in Green Energy Technologies

This coursework master's degree is run by the mechanical and aerospace engineering school at NTU and is endorsed by UNITAR, the United Nations training and research body. It pairs a solid core in mechanical engineering with an interdisciplinary outlook so that graduates can address pressing energy challenges from an engineering standpoint. The programme links academic training to Singapore's work on the energy transition, including maritime decarbonisation, the hydrogen economy and energy-efficient data centres. Projects with industry partners and real-life problems are part of the course, and graduates are expected to move into research and development, policy and energy management roles. Students may complete a dissertation project in place of two courses. The programme can be taken full-time or part-time, and applications for the August 2027 intake are accepted between October 2026 and the end of March 2027. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to interview.
