Overview

This master's degree readies teachers for medicine, biomedical science and other health professions. Students pick between a fully remote format and an in-person one, whichever fits them better. The training covers designing and delivering new curricula, using a variety of methods in classrooms and clinics, and creating and interpreting assessments of both learners and educational programs. It also builds mentoring and leadership skills for education projects, the use of research on teaching, and a commitment to continued learning. Graduates are meant to become educational leaders within their own health discipline. They can draft curricula matched to local needs with goals based on competencies and outcomes that can be measured, and can contribute expertise and mentoring for teaching in lecture rooms and clinical settings.
