AA/AS in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management

The Information Technology degree gives students a broad range of technical skills for jobs across the IT field. Since the field has many specialty clusters, the program offers a base spanning programming, databases, networks and the web. Graduates can step into entry roles or keep studying. The plan of study is arranged semester by semester and combines general education with courses specific to the field. Students placed into developmental math or English start those courses in the first term, and an advisor helps with planning. Cape Cod Community College is a public community college in Massachusetts, and this associate degree suits students who want job-ready preparation or a base for later study. Prospective students can review the full list of required courses and credits in the online catalog, and the admissions office can explain application steps, placement testing and available support services.
