AA/AS in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications

Computer networking prepares students to work with the technology that connects organizations and their computers. Learners study fundamentals such as routing and switching, then move to more advanced topics. The applied associate degree opens varied paths in information technology, from hands-on hardware roles as an engineer or technician to administration and management of networks and technology teams. Students practice with current equipment and also gain experience with virtual technologies. A certificate option is offered alongside the degree, and the college describes steady employer demand for skilled networking professionals. Prospective students can review program details, cost information and faculty listings on the program page before applying. Employers in many sectors need people who can keep networks running reliably, so graduates can look for work in a wide range of organizations rather than a single industry.
