AA/AS in Computer Software and Media Applications

UX Design and Development focuses on making digital products easy and pleasant for people to use. Students learn design processes and strategies that produce experiences working on desktops, phones, and tablets alike. The field covers research on products, the creation of user personas and scenarios, prototypes of websites, and testing with users. Coursework includes both UX design and web development, and the program is taught at the Marietta campus. Learners can pursue either an associate degree or a diploma. Instructors include faculty with doctoral training, and a podcast transcript and overview video transcript are provided on the program page. Applicants should review both credential options before choosing. Faculty advisors and academic advisors are listed on the page, which helps applicants plan their schedule before starting classes.
