Cosumnes River College provides the first two years of an engineering education for students who plan to earn a bachelor's degree at a university. The associate degree in science comes in two options, one focused on civil and mechanical engineering and the other on electrical and computer engineering. The program also connects students with a Mathematics, Engineering and Science Achievement support program, and its classes are designed to transfer to four-year institutions.
