AA/AS in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management

The IT support program prepares students for entry-level work as computer support specialists. They learn to set up, watch over, protect and manage network resources and to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems. Coursework also helps students get ready for the CompTIA A+ and PC Pro certification exams, which can make graduates more attractive to employers. Classes meet in a recently renovated wing that houses IT, computing and office programs, equipped with up-to-date computer facilities. An advanced certificate is offered alongside the associate degree. The IT Support program is planned as 5 semesters and 63 credits, using a mix of in-person and online delivery. Delta College publishes an estimated cost covering tuition and fees, with separate figures for in-district, out-of-district and out-of-state students. Prospective students can also talk with a Student Success Advisor about career goals and pathways. Course sequences and transfer options are listed on the program page.
