MA/MS in Student Counseling and Personnel Services

This graduate program leads to a Master of Education in Counselor Education focused on College Student Personnel Administration. It is delivered on campus and prepares students for administrative positions within colleges and universities. A defining feature is the rotation through a variety of university offices, which gives students practical knowledge and hands-on skills in student affairs work. The program describes many experiential learning options, one-to-one mentoring, and a tuition waiver with stipend for those in the full-time track. Students can study full-time, finishing in roughly two years with a summer practicum, or part-time, which takes longer and includes summer coursework and a practicum. Application deadlines and requirements are listed on a separate page of the Graduate School.
