AA/AS in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications

Lehigh Carbon Community College designed this associate of applied science program for people entering the technology field or refreshing existing skills. It aims at jobs in networking, telecommunications, and cyber security. The classes align with industry certifications. Students work through CompTIA A+ hardware and software support, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA material, and CompTIA Security+. A separate course fees section on the program page covers costs tied to these classes. The page also outlines a career ladder that starts with career and technical high school programs in computer network technology, continues through this degree, and points toward roles such as help desk analyst. The program is coordinated by a computer information systems instructor at the Schnecksville campus. Graduates may also continue their studies, since the page lists a transfer path onward.
