AA/AS in International Business

This Associate in Arts in business with a Global Trade and Logistics focus prepares students for work in an international business environment. It has two areas of study: international business, which looks at standard business functions in a worldwide setting, and logistics, which examines supply chain management and distribution. The program points toward middle-skill jobs that call for more training than a high school diploma yet less than a bachelor's degree. Graduates may pursue work in exporting, importing, freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain roles, or begin at a multinational company or as an entrepreneur serving foreign markets. The degree also connects to further study, including a related major in operations and supply chain management at CSULB and a professional designation as a Certified Global Business Professional.
