PGCert in Management Information Systems and Services

This generalist graduate certificate in information systems management serves working business people who rely on technology and want stronger MIS expertise. It broadens knowledge of technology management, project management and MIS applications. Students complete a short sequence of courses and learn to apply ethical decision making, key technologies and information security, and to align information systems with organizational strategy. Since the certificate does not award a degree, applicants on F-1 student visas cannot be accepted. Applications go through the BusinessCAS partner site. The university is accredited and belongs to the Minnesota State system. Applications are handled through a partner service, with separate windows for fall or spring starts and for summer or fall starts.
