MA/MS in Psychology, General

The Psychology M.A. at USF is not offered as a stand-alone terminal degree. Students earn it on the way through the Ph.D. program, and the catalog directs applicants to the doctoral admission deadlines and requirements instead. The department organizes its work around clinical, cognitive-neuroscience and social, and industrial-organizational areas. Research topics include staffing, training, leadership, occupational health and the future of work, with several statistical methods taught across areas. The clinical program holds accreditation from two national psychology accrediting bodies. Prospective students can find contacts, deadlines, delivery details and the full curriculum for the M.A. in the 2026-2027 Graduate Catalog, and should review them together with the university's general graduate admission policies before applying. Students interested in this degree are encouraged to contact the department directly with questions about fit, funding and timelines.
