BA/BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technologies/Technicians

This bachelor's degree prepares students for advanced work as electrical or computer engineering technologists. Valencia created it together with regional technology and engineering companies, and the labs use equipment comparable to what research departments at large firms rely on. Learners choose between two concentrations. Computer systems teaches how to study, create and put into service both hardware and software systems. Electrical and electronic systems covers control, instrumentation, communications and power systems. Classes stay small, with every course taught at the West Campus. Students enter the second half of the degree after finishing an eligible associate degree. Routes in include Valencia's matching A.S., an A.A. pathway built for this bachelor's, and a transfer plan in engineering within the A.A. The program is described as completable in about four years.
