The university began offering courses for its Bachelor of Professional Studies in Education in Ontario in 2007 and in 2019 opened its campus in Vaughan, in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre district of the Greater Toronto Area, where an 18,000-square-foot Phase 2 expansion added the Cortellucci Family Hall. Degree programs are offered in Ontario under consent granted by the Minister of Colleges and Universities pursuant to the Post-secondary Education Choice and Excellence Act, 2000.
The institution is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education; its teacher-education programs are accredited by the Ontario College of Teachers and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, and its business programs hold AACSB International accreditation. The Vaughan campus concentrates on graduate and post-baccalaureate professional education across the seven programs it lists: an MBA, master's degrees in criminal justice administration, information security and digital forensics (no longer accepting new applications), educational leadership, and disaster/emergency management and national security, a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Education leading to Ontario teacher certification, and Additional Qualifications courses for practising Ontario teachers.
