Staffordshire University is a public university based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, in the English Midlands, with an additional campus in Stafford and a presence in London at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Its roots go back to 1914, when it opened as a college serving the region's mining and pottery trades; it grew through mergers into North Staffordshire Polytechnic and was renamed Staffordshire Polytechnic before gaining full university title in 1992. The university now teaches through two academic schools: one covering digital technology, innovation and business, and one covering health, education, policing and the sciences.

Subjects on offer span computing and games development, engineering, creative industries, law and criminology, business, and health and social care, supported by simulation suites and innovation-focused facilities. The institution was renamed University of Staffordshire in 2024 to reflect this broader remit while keeping its regional roots.

It has also drawn recognition for the strength of its research, with a large share of its submitted work in the 2021 national research assessment judged outstanding or very considerable in impact.
