BA/BS in Finance

The Bachelor in Finance at University Metropolitan Tirana is built around the needs of the banking, insurance and financial-institution labour market. It is split into two profiles, Finance Accounting and Finance FinTech. The FinTech profile suits students interested in a company's assets and liabilities, in planning growth and in business strategy, together with the computer technologies that support banking and financial services. The accounting profile focuses on daily cash flows, the books of account and the relevant legislation. Graduates may work in public or private organisations, including commercial banks as financial, project, equity or debt analysts, and in corporate finance or portfolio management roles. The FinTech route also opens positions in the finance and IT industries, such as application developer, compliance expert or cyber security analyst, and graduates can continue to a master's degree in Albania or overseas.
