BA/BS in Entrepreneurship

Galen's Entrepreneurship program centres on the Galen University Innovation Centre (GUIA), a shared workspace where students, faculty and local entrepreneurs bring ideas through from concept to a commercially viable business. Participants join an integrated training track, get access to mentors and funding contacts, and work alongside peers to build and test prototypes, pressure-test a business model, and grow a venture out of the incubator. Rather than treating entrepreneurship as a purely theoretical subject, the curriculum walks students through the full product-development cycle: shaping an original business proposal and defending it across multiple pitch presentations. The Centre's collaborative setting is positioned as an alternative to studying alone in a library or coffee shop, built instead around a community of like-minded founders. Core courses include Human Resource Management and Foundations of Entrepreneurship, giving the degree a grounding in both people management and start-up fundamentals.
