This is a pathway route into Algonquin College's Bachelor of Engineering in Automation and Robotics Engineering (Co-op), a four-year CEAB-accredited degree spanning mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science, for graduates of Algonquin's Electrical Engineering Technology Ontario College Advanced Diploma. Eligible diploma graduates complete three bridging courses covering linear algebra, advanced programming and data structures, and physics, and in return receive credit for up to 14 courses in the degree, reducing time to completion to three years instead of the standard four. The remaining curriculum covers engineering principles, mathematics, programming, dynamics, electronics, sensors, vision systems, control systems, and industrial robotics, supported by industrial and applied research placements, three mandatory paid co-op work terms, and a final-year project. Graduates pursue careers as robotics, controls, and automation engineers and systems designers across manufacturing, aerospace, healthcare, and defence.
