This program leads to a Bachelor of Social Work through an After-Degree pathway for students who already hold an undergraduate degree, completed in two full-time academic years including one summer term, for a total of 75 credit hours (63 discipline credits plus 12 core religion credits). Admission requires a degree in the social sciences, humanities, or another field recognized as suitable preparation for social work, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on the last 60 credit hours completed. Delivery is hybrid at the Winnipeg campus, with a Fall intake, and the program is open to international students on a study permit. It delivers the same learning outcomes as Booth University College's standard Bachelor of Social Work, covering professional practice skills, policy, and clinical practice, and preparing graduates to become registered social workers. It suits degree-holders who want to redirect an existing credential toward a career in social work without repeating a full four-year undergraduate program.
