The part-time Bachelor of Technology in Forensic Investigation offers two options: Crime and Intelligence Analysis, and Forensic Science. The Crime and Intelligence Analysis option focuses on interpreting data, producing intelligence reports, and using tools such as crime mapping and investigative analysis software to support law enforcement operations. The Forensic Science option emphasizes the scientific and procedural aspects of forensic work, including crime scene processing, death investigation, and the analysis of biological, chemical, and physical evidence. Both options include practical training and may offer internship opportunities with law enforcement or related agencies. Graduates are prepared for roles in forensic laboratories, police departments, intelligence units, or coroner’s offices.

Admission Requirements: This part-time BTech has two options, Crime and Intelligence Analysis and Forensic Science, each requiring "Completion of a minimum of 60.0 credits of courses from one or more recognized post-secondary institutions prior to admission," a Criminal Record Check "issued within one year of your application date," and a pre-entry assessment via the Program Assistant. English language proficiency is Category 2: "English Studies 12 (67%) or equivalent." There are "3 intakes: January, April, and September," and "The Bachelor of Technology in Forensic Investigation must be completed within seven years from acceptance into the program." The Crime and Intelligence Analysis option is delivered fully online synchronous or blended; the Forensic Science option is blended on-campus and online, offered evenings and weekends.
