Admission Requirements: No prior academic credential is required. Applicants need English Studies 12 at 50% or equivalent (Category 3, also met by IELTS Academic 6.0 with no band below 5.0, TOEFL iBT 4 with no section below 3, PTE Academic 52, Duolingo 105, or CAEL 60, per BCIT's institution-wide English Language Proficiency page); no other minimum grade is stated. BCIT recommends applicants with limited Windows computer experience first complete COMP 1002 Applied Computer Concepts with Windows 11. Applicants are accepted on a first-qualified basis as long as space remains, with deadlines that vary by intake and by domestic or international status. In-person delivery requires a study permit and a co-op work permit for international students, and the program does not meet the field-of-study requirement for a Post-Graduation Work Permit.
