Overview
The Quality and Process Management Certificate is to develop job ready graduates with expertise in the rigorous and analytical application of quality tools and methodologies to manage and improve business. The quality function is a critical part of every type of organization, including manufacturing, service, healthcare, and non-profit. This program is designed for people wanting to work in quality related jobs (quality engineering, quality control, quality assurance), and to add critical skill sets to people working in a wide variety of operations positions (supply chain, logistics, production/service delivery).

Admission Requirements: Applicants need English Studies 12 at 67% or equivalent (Category 2, also met by IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 4.5 with no section below 3.5, PTE Academic 60, Duolingo 120, or CAEL 70, per BCIT's institution-wide English Language Proficiency page). No other prerequisite course or minimum grade is listed. Applicants must submit a program declaration form through the Education Planner BC system, and are accepted on a first-qualified basis as long as space remains. Intakes run in January, April and September, each with its own opening date and separate domestic and international deadlines. International students need a valid study permit; this certificate does not qualify graduates for a Post-Graduation Work Permit.

Openings are 9:00 am and deadlines 11:59 pm Pacific Time, moving to the next business day on a weekend. Admission is not institute-wide rolling, but many programs work first-qualified-first-accepted and can fill before the posted deadline, and several programs, mostly in Health Sciences, trades and graduate studies, run entirely separate application tables of their own.
