Micro-credential in Network Switching and Routing Micro-credential

Admission Requirements: BCIT does not require formal application to this microcredential; applicants register directly for its course once its recommended prerequisites are met. The program recommends prior completion of BCIT's Essentials of Data Networks microcredential, or an equivalent introductory networking course covering at least 80% of that microcredential's learning objectives, plus some hands-on experience with networking equipment. The page states no minimum academic grade, English-language test score, or interview requirement beyond a 50% passing grade in the course itself. The microcredential is open to international applicants completing it from outside Canada or holding valid Canadian status other than a study permit; a study permit does not qualify a person for this program.
