Program details

Overview

Brock University's Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a four-year honours degree, offered through the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, and is anchored in practical training, including a substantial number of clinical hours spent across a range of health-care settings. Students also train in the university's Nursing Simulation Labs, where programmable patient simulators reproduce the physical signs seen in real clinical and emergency scenarios, giving a safe setting to practice responses before working with real patients. Graduates become eligible to sit the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Students who already hold a four-year bachelor's degree can instead consider Brock's Concurrent Bachelor/Master of Nursing option. Career paths connected to the degree include hospital care, public health, research, policy development, and health-care administration. The program suits students seeking a clinically grounded route directly into registered nursing practice in Canada.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Expected admission cut-off: mid 80s. Ontario Grade 12 requirements, each at a minimum of 75%: English (ENG4U), Biology (SBI4U), Chemistry (SCH4U), and one 4U math course.

Application Details

Application Deadline: For current Ontario secondary-school applicants, Brock's OUAC deadline for all undergraduate programmes is January 15, 2027, with offers to be accepted by June 1, 2027; programmes may still accept applications after this date if capacity allows. Brock states no fixed deadline for Canadian residents or international applicants who are not currently attending an Ontario high school (OUAC 105 or direct international application) — these are reviewed without a published equal-consideration or final date. Several programmes, including BA (Hons) Game Design, carry a separate February 1, 2027 supplementary-document deadline. Admission runs on a rolling basis once the stated dates pass, capacity permitting. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
