Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science is a joint program between the University of Regina, studied through Campion College, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Students first complete the two-year Diploma of Medical Laboratory Technology at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, then transfer up to 60 credit hours toward an additional two years of study at the University of Regina to complete the Bachelor of Science degree, for a total program length of four years. The curriculum covers clinical chemistry, microbiology, hematology and hemopathology, immunology, transfusion science, and laboratory practices, alongside genetics, statistics, Indigenous health perspectives, organizational behaviour, and professional ethics. Graduates work in hospital and clinical laboratories analyzing human blood, body fluids, and tissue samples. Admission to the degree-completion portion requires prior completion of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic diploma and meeting the Faculty of Science's admission requirements.

Admission Requirements: To qualify for admission, applicants must first complete the Diploma of Medical Laboratory Technology at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, then apply to the University of Regina and meet the admission requirements for the Faculty of Science; students who meet these requirements are granted 60 credit hours of block transfer credit toward the degree. All applicants must meet the university's English language proficiency requirement, satisfied by an IELTS Academic overall band of 6.5 (no band below 6.0), a TOEFL iBT overall score of 4.5 with each of Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing at least 4, a PTE Academic score of 59 (no area below 59), a Duolingo English Test score of 120, or a CAEL score of 60, unless prior education was completed in English.
