Overview

Fall 2026: College Drive – North BayWinter 2027: College Drive – North Bay Prepare for a career in this in-demand health field in Canadore’s leading-edge simulation nursing laboratories. Learn theory and practice in a variety of settings. The high-fidelity labs are equipped with interactive mannequins that speak and replicate real symptoms, on which students act out common medical emergencies.Our small class and lab sizes allow for individual learner support and more one-on-one time with professors. Training culminates with a seven-week, pre-graduate placement experience working with a registered practical nurse. Our graduates are sought after all over the world working independently or as part of a health care team.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: OSSD or equivalent; ENG4C or ENG4U; Grade 11 or 12 Science (C or U); Grade 11 Math (C, U or M). Proof of English proficiency required if English is not your first language. Recent Personal Support Worker graduates from a College are assessed for transfer credit in semester one.
