Leadership for Indigenous Learners Certificate

The Leadership for Indigenous Learners Certificate at Capilano University is an 18-credit, six-course credential covering individual, team and organizational leadership skills for the workplace. The curriculum teaches leadership skills that have practical value across a wide variety of real-world jobs, with course topics including organizational behaviour, advanced business writing, leadership in teams, leadership, and leading with emotional intelligence in the workplace. The programme is intended for Indigenous students of all ages who are looking to expand their leadership knowledge, and it is delivered through the School of Business within the Business & Professional Studies faculty. It runs as a closed-cohort programme, with all applications coordinated and processed through the Squamish Nation rather than through Capilano University's general admissions process, and admission is not open to the general public.
