The Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) is offered through Carleton University's Faculty of Science. The program provides foundational scientific knowledge in human health, covering approaches relevant to medicine, biomedical research, and healthcare research. Students take courses spanning multiple disciplines and sectors related to health, using laboratory and scientific equipment as part of their training. After the first year, students select from five concentration options that focus their remaining coursework within the program, including options such as Health Throughout the Lifespan. The curriculum combines core science courses in biology, chemistry, and related fields with health-specific content, preparing graduates for further study in medicine, health professions, or biomedical and health research fields. The program is delivered on Carleton's Ottawa campus, drawing on faculty research and laboratory facilities in health-related sciences.
