Diploma in Techniques d’éducation à l’enfance

Admission Requirements: Entry follows Cégep de Granby's general admission conditions (a Quebec DES, or a DEP with the required Secondary V language and Secondary IV mathematics courses, or equivalent training and experience after a 24-month interruption), applied for through SRAM; the programme sets no additional academic subject prerequisite. It does require, from the first session, a valid certificat d'absence d'empêchement (criminal record / vulnerable-sector check, at the applicant's expense) for daycare-service visits, and completion in the first session of an integrated first-aid course (8h PS/Petite enfance/DEA et gestion des allergies sévères), mandatory for internship placement. Since instruction is entirely in French, no IELTS or TOEFL applies; applicants schooled outside Quebec must pass the mandatory French-language test under SRAM's international stream (CAD 100 fee) and obtain a CAQ and study permit.
