Cert in AEC Éducation à l’enfance

AEC Éducation à l'enfance is an Attestation d'études collégiales (AEC) program at Cégep de Granby, delivered 100% online with an in-person internship placement, held through evening courses and some Saturday mornings. The program totals 1,110 hours, with courses starting in September (fall session) or January (winter session). Coursework spans five areas: health and safety, child development, relationships with children, educational activities, and relationships with adults. The program includes two work placements totalling 330 hours for professional integration into early childhood settings. Graduates are trained to plan and lead educational activities for children, support child development, and ensure a safe and healthy childcare environment. The program leads to an AEC credential (program code JEE.0K) recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Higher Education.
