Overview
Les techniques d'inhalothérapie (141.A0) forment, en trois ans, des inhalothérapeutes aptes à intervenir auprès de personnes ayant des problèmes cardiorespiratoires. Le programme, offert au Cégep de Sherbrooke avec admission à l'automne, mène à un diplôme d'études collégiales technique. La formation combine des apprentissages théoriques et des laboratoires équipés pour la pratique des techniques respiratoires, complétés par des stages en milieu clinique qui permettent d'acquérir une expérience concrète auprès d'équipes médicales. Les personnes étudiantes apprennent à maîtriser les techniques contribuant à l'amélioration des fonctions cardiorespiratoires et à intervenir en situation d'urgence. Le programme convient à une clientèle intéressée par le monde médical et les soins de santé, à l'aise avec la manipulation d'appareils de précision, capable de garder son sang-froid en contexte d'urgence et prête à travailler en étroite collaboration avec une équipe soignante. Admission Requirements: This programme page only points to Cégep de Sherbrooke's general admission conditions, administered through SRAM (admission.sram.qc.ca). Domestically that requires a Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES), or a record the Cégep judges equivalent (including studies completed outside Quebec); DES holders from before 2010 or the adult-education stream are still admitted but must complete levelling activities (mise à niveau) for any missing language, second-language or mathematics units by their first or second session. International applicants apply via SRAM and, unless French citizens, must submit a French test meeting Sherbrooke's minimums (Bright Canada 3.7, TCF 484, DELF B2 75.7, DALF 50, TEF 479/699). Inhalothérapie (141.A0) additionally requires secondary 5 Mathematics (TS 4e, SN 4e, or Mathématique 436) and Chemistry with Physical Science (Chimie 5e or 534, and Sciences physiques 436). Clinical placements then require vaccination and tuberculosis testing, a judicial-background declaration, roughly $800 for a uniform, stethoscope and references, and a practice permit (about $600) from the Ordre des inhalothérapeutes du Québec.

Application Deadline:Domestic applicants apply through the Service régional d'admission du Montréal métropolitain (SRAM), which also covers cégeps outside the Montreal region: Winter 2027 entry opens 15 September 2026, with a round-one deadline of 1 November 2026 and a round-two deadline of 25 November 2026; Fall 2027 entry follows SRAM's recurring round-one deadline of 1 March 2027, though the cégep's site has not yet posted a dated row for that cycle (its Fall 2026 table is marked as closed). International applicants follow a separate SRAM timeline, confirmed directly on the cégep's site: Fall 2027 applications run from 15 March 2026 to 14 March 2027, and Winter 2028 applications run from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2027. Admission is not open-ended rolling, but SRAM runs successive rounds for as long as places remain. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
