Diploma in Human Sciences – Education

This pre-university Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) programme is a profile within Human Sciences focused on education and the teaching profession. Students explore child development, pedagogy, and the education field, completing an observation internship in a school setting along with teaching simulations that introduce classroom practice ahead of university-level teacher training. The programme runs two years (four sessions), is delivered on campus at the Limoilou campus, and is offered with intakes in both Fall and Winter. It prepares graduates for university studies in education and related fields, and is described by the college as the only programme of its kind offered in Eastern Quebec. Admission follows the college's general DEC process through the Service régional d'admission au collégial de Québec (SRACQ).
