This technical diploma (DEC) in industrial engineering technology at Cégep Limoilou trains students to optimize business and service operations by improving productivity, quality control, and resource management, and to supervise and coordinate production teams. The programme runs three years (six sessions), delivered on campus at the Limoilou campus, combining laboratory work, individual and team projects, case studies, simulations, and virtual-reality applications. Students may complete up to three paid work-study internships (alternance travail-études) with local employers. It is the only programme of its kind offered in the greater Quebec City region. Graduates are prepared for roles such as industrial engineering technologist, quality-assurance coordinator, and production supervisor across manufacturing, distribution, and service organizations, and may transfer into university engineering programmes at institutions including Université Laval, UQTR, ÉTS, and Polytechnique Montréal.
