Innovative Manufacturing is a two-year diploma from Saskatchewan Polytechnic delivered on-campus at the Regina campus, with classes running 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily across a 76-week program (Year 1: 44 weeks; Year 2: 32 weeks) starting each September. The program provides skill-based training across Saskatchewan's manufacturing sector, covering design, CAD/CAM drafting, computer numerical control (CNC) machining, welding, fabrication, robotics, 3-D printing and project management. Students complete coordinated group projects using industry-standard tools and equipment and take part in a two-week industry-based work placement.
