Trades - Apprenticeship in Automotive Service Technician Ford ASSET

The Automotive Service Technician Ford ASSET (MAP 32) program is a modified apprenticeship delivered at Centennial College's Ashtonbee Campus in partnership with Ford Motor Company of Canada. Students alternate between the College and their employer every four weeks, for a total of 64 weeks split evenly between in-class instruction and on-the-job training. Training focuses on Ford-specific electronics and vehicle management systems alongside the standard automotive service technician curriculum. On successful completion, graduates receive an Ontario College Certificate in Motive Power Fundamentals and fulfil their apprenticeship educational requirements while earning paid training credits with their employer. Applicants must secure employment with a Ford Motor Company of Canada dealership and register as a MAP apprentice with the Ministry of Labour before enrolling; the program does not accept direct applications from the general public.
