Trades - Apprenticeship in Motorcycle Technician - Apprenticeship Training

This apprenticeship training program is delivered through Centennial College for individuals formally employed as motorcycle technician apprentices, registered with the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. In-school instruction is delivered in eight-week sessions that combine classroom coursework with on-the-job experience gained under an employer. The curriculum covers six courses: Power Trains, Fuels and Electrical Systems, Engines, Applied Work Practices, Brakes and Chassis, and Frames and Suspension. Students develop technical skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcycle systems, building on hands-on experience acquired in the workplace between in-school blocks. On completion of all required in-school levels and on-the-job hours, apprentices work toward certification in the motorcycle technician trade. The program leads to an Ontario College Certificate. Admission is restricted to apprentices already employed and sponsored in the trade; the College does not accept direct applications from the general public, as eligibility and scheduling are determined by the Ministry.
