Overview

Science is a two-year pre-university Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC, program code 200.B1) offered at Champlain College Lennoxville. The program is designed to prepare students for university-level study in the sciences, supporting later careers in fields such as research, engineering, and medicine. Students choose from three profiles, Life and Health, Math and Physics, and a General Profile, each combining a shared core of science courses with profile-specific science options so that coursework can be tailored to an intended field of study. The program is one of Champlain Lennoxville's pre-university offerings, alongside Liberal Arts, Social Science, and Science, Computer Science and Mathematics, and leads to direct entry into Quebec university science and related programs rather than to immediate employment. Course selection flexibility across the three profiles allows students with different academic interests within the sciences to follow a common program structure while specializing their science options.
