Overview
This pre-university program (500.AL) is the Langues, Monde et Cultures option within the Arts, Lettres et Communication DEC at Collège Ahuntsic. Students study Spanish and German alongside their history, traditions, and cultures, with no prior knowledge of these languages required for admission; the page states three distinct language tracks (Spanish, German, and an advanced track) and that graduates finish fluent in Spanish, German, and English in addition to French. Admission Requirements: The program page sets no course prerequisite beyond a Diplome d'etudes secondaires (DES); no Spanish or German proficiency is required at entry despite these being core program languages. Under the College's general regulation R-11, applicants may also qualify with an equivalent Diplome d'etudes professionnelles plus the required upgrading courses, provided they hold eligible citizenship or immigration status. Applicants whose Secondary 5 language of instruction was not French must pass the College's own French-language test. After admission, students take a language placement test that determines their Spanish, German or advanced-track pathway; this is not an entry condition. Admission is processed through SRAM.

International applicants apply through the same SRAM portal; SRAM's system-wide window for Fall 2027 international entry runs from 15 March 2026 to a firm closing date of 14 March 2027, with no winter international date published for the college. Admission is rolling round to round until each round's seats are filled. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
