Sciences humaines: Gestion des affaires (300.42) is a pre-university DEC profile at College Ahuntsic within the Sciences humaines avec mathematiques family (chosen as 300.M1 on SRAM). The page targets students interested in business, marketing, accounting, international trade, or finance who are considering university studies in business administration. The curriculum combines a complete mathematics sequence meeting the admission requirements of Quebec university business faculties with humanities coursework. Three elective business courses are offered (Dynamique de l'entreprise, Finance d'entreprise, or Marketing) alongside a choice between two economics electives (Economie globale or Microeconomie). Entry requires Secondary 5 mathematics, and the program admits for both the Fall and Winter sessions. It prepares students for university programs including actuarial science, administration, accounting, international trade, law, entrepreneurship, finance, operations management, human-resources management, tourism and hospitality management, and computer science.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: The program's own page sets one prerequisite: Secondary 5 TS or SN mathematics (or Mathematiques 526). Beyond this, admission follows the College's general regulation R-11: a Diplome d'etudes secondaires covering it, or an equivalent Diplome d'etudes professionnelles with the required upgrading courses, plus eligible citizenship or immigration status. Applicants whose Secondary 5 language of instruction was not French must pass the College's own French-language test. Admission is offered for both the Fall and Winter sessions, per SRAM's calendar. Admission is processed through SRAM.
