Food Processing Quality Control is a certificate program offered by the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) that trains students to oversee food safety and quality in New Brunswick's food-processing plants. Coursework covers BASICS.fst food-safety certification, food-product quality control, the HACCP quality-management system, principles of food microbiology, and control of industrial processes and operations, along with staff supervision and training and English-language courses at multiple levels. Students learn to apply quality-control procedures and safety standards throughout the production line, from raw materials to finished product. The program totals 32 weeks of training, including a workplace practicum, and is offered at the Péninsule acadienne campus. Graduates work as supervisors in food and beverage processing plants, overseeing quality and safety on the production floor.
