Diploma in Nursing

This program leads to a DEC in Nursing at Collège d'Alma, completed over three years across six semesters. It combines nursing theory and clinical practice courses with general education in communication, philosophy, English and physical activity, and includes clinical practicums in medicine, surgery, perinatal care, pediatrics, mental health and geriatrics. Training uses an on-campus simulation lab with high-fidelity mannequins and 360-degree immersive technology, and students gain further practical experience through the college's own on-site health clinic serving the campus and surrounding community. Admission requires general college conditions plus secondary-level environmental science and chemistry, with a bridging pathway available for students missing prerequisites.
