Overview

Marketing et gestion d'événements is a technical option within Collège de Maisonneuve's Administration et gestion diploma programme (410.G0), leading to a Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) over six full-time sessions (three years). The programme covers marketing strategy, event planning and management, content creation, and social media management, combining coursework with project-based learning drawn from industry practice. Roughly half of specific training takes place in laboratory and internship settings. Students complete a common first session shared with other Administration et gestion options before specializing, with the option to switch profiles at session two. A paid, credited work-study internship begins in the first year, with a six-week credited internship in the final session, and an optional study exchange at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie de Dijon in France is available. An applied English for marketing course is required in session four. Classes run Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on campus. Graduates find employment in advertising, marketing, event management, retail, and administration, or continue into university programs in marketing, communication, or project management.
