Admission Requirements: The Administrative Assistant Specialty Certificate requires a minimum grade of C+ (65%) in one of Composition 11, Literary Studies 11, New Media 11, EFP Literary Studies + New Media 11, EFP Literary Studies and Writing 11, English - Advanced Level, or English - Provincial Level (Essential English), plus a minimum grade of C (60%) in one of Foundations of Mathematics 11, Workplace Mathematics 11, or Mathematics - Advanced/Business-Technical/Developmental Level. On top of the academic prerequisites, applicants must pass a keyboarding assessment of 30 gross words per minute with three or fewer errors across three 3-minute timings; those who do not meet it must first complete OFAD 155 Keyboarding 1. Secondary-school graduation or equivalent, or an acceptable College of the Rockies assessment result, is recommended for student success though not stated as a hard prerequisite.
