Overview
The Diploma in Youth Work is a two-year, on-campus program for students exploring the pastoral side of youth ministry. The program builds ministry competency alongside organizational and communication skills for youth work in church and parachurch settings. Admission Requirements: Applicants must be at least 17 years old, a Christian who demonstrates a willingness to grow in discipleship, and willing to agree to Columbia's Student Community Commitments. Applicants must hold a Canadian or US high school diploma with a minimum 60% average across their top five grade 11-12 classes, three of which must be academic courses, and must demonstrate the potential for academic and community success at Columbia. The application requires an online form, transcripts, two non-family references, and a $50 application fee.
