Overview
Data Processing and Reporting is a one-year Ontario College Certificate program that prepares students to enter, organize, and manage data in an office setting. Over 30 weeks, students learn to organize data sets, build basic data reports, visually present data findings, and validate data accuracy, using common office and data-management software. The curriculum also develops professional communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues in a diverse business environment, along with basic support skills for digital marketing platforms. Delivery is hybrid, combining online coursework with on-campus classes. Graduates are prepared for entry-level data entry, reporting, and administrative support roles in office and business settings, with a foundation for further study in business or information management fields.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status. Mature students must demonstrate their potential to work at the post-secondary level either by successfully completing an English assessment or by completing Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1545). Applicants with transcripts from institutions where the language of instruction is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency.
